With over 23 years of expertise in marketing communications, brand strategy, and customer relationship management, I've held executive and directorial positions across client and agency landscapes within global marketing, brand, and communications strategy.
Notably, I served as the Global Marketing Communications Director for General Electric's $12 billion Healthcare Systems division. I led brand strategy and marketing communications initiatives, collaborating with 11 different product teams to cultivate impactful and holistic customer experiences for target customer segments.
I've worked with leading Fortune 5 and Global 500 companies as well as small businesses and start-ups, including General Electric, GE Healthcare Systems, GE Healthcare, Saint-Gobain, Sherwin-Williams (Krylon, Dutch Boy, Pratt & Lambert, Dupli-Color), Elmer's, Krazy Glue, A. Schulman, Shurtech Brands (Duck Tape, Frog Tape), and Tarkett.
We helped rebrand multibillion-dollar businesses to shift customer mindsets, compelling hospitals and physicians to reconsider how they purchased million-dollar medical devices.
We introduced green-screen technology and digital marketing to a small business more than a decade ago by identifying internal synergies with its internal design and technology resources and investing $5 into a roll of green wrapping paper, ultimately saving money in the short term and enhancing ROI on future marketing communications efforts.
We led award-winning content marketing campaigns, demonstrating to consumers and retail Buyers in a commoditized industry what a bottle of glue was truly capable of creating.
We helped launch one of the first online content marketing portals for healthcare practitioners paired with a multi-year thought leadership conference on best practices and public policy years before anyone uttered the buzzword “content marketing.”
We led all crisis communications for a large, global medical manufacturing company deemed essential during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Between January 2020 through January 2021, we helped keep every manufacturing facility open where local governments would allow it by communicating regularly with Plant Managers around the world, creating employee videos and written content to inform, protect, and thank our manufacturing and remote employees, and developing a COVID-19 website for employees to learn about the virus and receive internal updates on constantly changing corporate policies and protocols.
Simultaneously, we fielded requests for information from the top pharmaceutical and vaccine companies in the world regarding our COVID-19 protocols and potential supply chain and logistics issues. We also wrote executive communications, social media posts, press releases, and investor communications. During this time, the business had one of its strongest years despite the pandemic's challenges.
